The First Verse is a pioneering project uniting mathematicians, theologians, researchers, and scientists to explore the profound harmony encoded within sacred texts—most notably the opening verse of the Torah, Bereishit Bara Elohim Et HaShamayim Ve’Et Ha’Aretz (Genesis 1:1).

Our mission is to illuminate the scientific, mathematical, and spiritual significance of this foundational verse, fostering meaningful dialogue between science and faith and inspiring curiosity in audiences worldwide.

TheFirstVerse.com presents the research and publications of Mr. Oren J. Evron, an autodidact whose work brings together contributions from scholars and professionals in mathematics, pattern recognition, and biblical linguistics.

This includes the statistical research of Professor Haim Shore (Ben-Gurion University of the Negev), revealing striking correlations between scientific datasets and Biblical Hebrew; the groundbreaking studies of Professor Eliyahu Rips on Equidistant Letter Sequences (ELS); and the insights of Rabbi Yitzchak Ginsburgh, demonstrating precise mathematical relationships between the Hebrew alphabet and the Fibonacci sequence.

Building on these foundations, Mr. Evron began his own exploration of the Torah—starting with the very first verse—and uncovered deep structural patterns using a-priori, pre-defined, mathematically robust methodologies. His findings reveal unexpected harmony between the First Verse and fundamental mathematical constants and structures, including π (Pi), √2, and classical sacred geometry.

Much of this work is conceptually connected to the Kabbalistic doctrines of Tzimtzum (the contraction of Infinite Light preceding creation), creation ex nihilo, Sefer Yetzirah, the teachings of the Zohar and Etz Chaim, and—above all—the plain textual structure of the Torah itself.

You are invited to join this fascinating journey into the intersection of mathematics, science, and the Divine Word.
